This tour is one of the most sought by our clients, since it is a beautiful experience where you will learn about the Costa Rican coffee’s process.
This tour is done by our friend Tio Leo (Uncle Leo), a coffee expert who will teach us many secrets that all coffee lovers may put into practice in the future.

Another unforgettable experience within this tour will be the sugarcane juice extraction. This consists on putting the sugarcane into a machine and you will ro‐ tate a piece if wood with your hands to crash the cane and get the juice out of it, and later, you will drink it. Also, you will have the chance to cook your own chocolate and taste it.

We will finally have a cooking class where you will be taught to make your own corn pie. All of these activities are made in a very costarrican environment that you will feel right away you get to this place.

Our day continues with its amazing adventures as we drive about 30 minutes to Llanos de Cortés Waterfalls. This is an area surrounded by lot of vegetation and the‐refore, lot of wildlife such as hawler monkeys who sing so hard that can be heard several kilometers away.

The water of this cascade falls down over 25 meters,

forming a so beautiful curtain that when it is hit by the wind, makes an unique breeze around tourists…
The Waterfall’s fee is not included in our price, because we want you to pay it straight from your hands to the local people. It is a donation of $7 dollars per person. This money is given to the local primary school, they use it to paint the school and buy school supplies for the kids of the community who attend that school.

Our day full of wonders starts a 7:30 am, at that time, you’ll be picked up at your hotel, and we’ll be back around 4:00 pm
